Living a Spiritual Life
What does it mean to live a Spiritual life?
The image that pops into your head, may only be partial truth. It's possible that you honestly have no idea what living a spiritual life looks like or feels like.
I would like to share my experience of living a spiritual life with you. What I pictured in my mind was not entirely true.
I was not aware that Spirituality and Religion are not the same thing. They do have similarities, but their approaches are different.
Spirituality is a journey within; it's transformation. It takes dedication and is a lot of work. If you truly desire spiritual freedom, be ready to make big changes and do your spiritual work!

When I would hear about spirituality, I would picture people meditating, practicing yoga, wearing the different crystals, smudging. I also believed that you had to have all of your shit together and have a perfect, flawless life.
WRONG!!!
I entered into a few group through social media that were on a similar journey. I met some very nice people that I still keep in touch with. However, there was a lot of information being tossed around that didn't resonate with me, so I left those groups. I was also still spiritually closeted.
A few months after, I found this Spiritual community that was exactly what I was looking for. They were a close community. The Spiritual teachers were supportive of their students. It was like they were a family. I did learn a lot from them and their teachings. The healing tool they teach is very powerful. I was healing some deep childhood wounds and making progress.
Shortly after doing deep healing, I started feeling very uncomfortable being in that group. I started believing that there's no way I would be as spiritually advanced as these people. I honestly found them intimidating.

I believed that if I was having problems in my life of any kind, I wasn't doing my spiritual work properly and I wasn't fully committed to my journey. There's that limiting belief that if you were truly invested in your spiritual journey, nothing bad would ever happen in your life.
I am no longer in that community. One thing I am truly grateful for is that I met my current Spiritual teachers/coaches in that group. I believe that's why I was led to that community, to meet my teachers.
I knew they were "the ones" by the way I felt; safe and supported. What I love most is how human they are. That may sound funny, but they are fully human, fully Divine.(they taught a class on what that means)
I have been a part of their class and teachings for almost a year and made BIG changes in my life. All it took was me truly investing in myself. It took time to get there and that is okay. Investing in yourself is the greatest investment you will make and it's okay to make mistakes. It's how you respond to the upsets and obstacles.
If you aren't sure if a spiritual community/teacher/coach is a good fit for you, follow your intuition. Pay attention to how you feel. Go within, listen to your heart. The heart is the spiritual brain. Your heart is never wrong.
I hope you enjoyed a bit of a look into my spiritual journey. If you would like to know more or share your personal experience, please feel free to comment or send an email.
Much Love
